Matt & Lauren.

I captured Matt & Lauren's wedding last year (await the blog, I need to catch up), and it was stunning. So when M+L agreed to do a post-wedding portrait session at the beach, I was stoked. The idea was to have fun, get wet, and flex some serious photography muscle.

We started at my studio in Sheffield, the town of murals, tucked away under the impressive Mount Roland on Tasmania's North West Coast. I wanted to create a glam look for Lauren's makeup and a messy boho curl for her hair. I love it when a client gives me free rein to do what I love and create. We then headed to one of my favorite beaches (and grabbed Matt along the way).

After a 15-minute walk to the stunning private beach, it was go time. Again, M+L were the best of sports, with no request too much and absolutely no limits. I cannot thank them enough for loving my crazy, even when I'm up to my neck, fully clothed in the water, with my camera balanced precariously above the waves.
